Record the weather for each day, try and be as descriptive as you can and use the Met Office to help.

A map of the U.K using alternative resources like playdough, twigs, shoelaces or Lego!

Take a photo of your masterpiece!

How would life change if there was no rain in the U.K for the next year?

Write a paragraph on your thoughts.

An episode of Planet Earth (available on BBC I-Player).

Pick whatever episode is most appealing to you!

To help prep you and build up your confidence for one of our first topics in September (Map Skills), have a go at the activities in the PowerPoint below 'Year 6 Transition 2021'. It is not compulsory and you do not need to do all of the activities, perhaps choose a couple you'd most like to do and give them a go!   Keep your answers safe somewhere as the answers will be uploaded to this page towards the end of the Summer Holidays!
