Miss. Wood - Librarian

Welcome to Bishop Stopford School Library!

My name is Miss. Wood and I am your Librarian. I LOVE reading and think that my job is brilliant as I help other people to LOVE reading and books too!

This will be my third year working at your school. Before I worked here, I worked for Northamptonshire Libraries. I am very passionate about promoting libraries in our towns. Libraries are brilliant!

I have three children, my youngest will also be starting year 7 at her school. My oldest child is starting her A levels this year and my middle child her GCSE studies. I think this gives me a good idea of what lots of students in school are experiencing and how I can help them in the library.

Mrs. Watt - Assistant Librarian

Assistant Librarian - Mrs. Watt

Hello I'm Mrs Watt and I usually work Tuesday - Friday from the start of lunchtime onward, including Homework Club. I'm always happy to help you find a book to read or to print something for school, or just to have a chat about how your day's going.

I also love reading and think that our Library is one of the best stocked for children and teen fiction and non-fiction you'll ever find! I certainly enjoy dipping into some of our brilliant books. One summer holiday I read the whole Harry Potter series in one go, what an amazing experience!

HOMEWORK CLUB 3:30-5:00 Monday to Friday for years 7-11

If you need a space to complete homework or study after school you may work in the library

Rules for Homework Club
