Religious Studies A Level is a course that designed to get you thinking, to learn the art of philosophical thinking and questioning.  The course has three aspects; Philosophy, Ethics and Religion (Christianity).  All three of these disciplines will invite you to consider concepts and ideas you have probably never thought about before and will get you to think about the world in a new and exciting way.  You will learn how to question, discuss and debate important ideas and learn from some of the great thinkers of the past and present all of which might well challenge your owns views.

Year 13

Component 1:

Examinations

All A-level exams are at the end of Year 13:

  • 1x 2 hour exam (Christianity)
  • 1x 2 hour exam (Philosophy)
  • 1x 2 hour exam (Ethics)
