Further Mathematics is designed for the most able mathematicians in the country!

If you were a grade 9 student at GCSE, then this may interest you.

Further Maths takes the normal A-Level in Maths to new depths. We will extend on the content covered in the A-Level such as differentiation, integration and vectors and explore them in order to prepare you for university studies in Maths or Engineering based courses.

We study the K0 option, which means you will study some Mechanics as well.

The Course

Exams in Year 13

We study four units, each being 25% of the course. We will study the courses simultaneously, so aspects of each will be covered in years 12 and 13.

Each of the 4 units will have an exam: They are 1 hour 30 minutes long and worth 75 marks.
