The Course
Year 12
Introduction to the course- an investigation into media and techniques.
Project One- Personally selected theme exploring a range of artist ideas and media.
Project Two- Refinement of ideas from project one.
Mock exam day- July.
Year 13
Personal investigation- in depth exploration of ideas built on from Yr12 investigations.
Critical Studies- 1-3000 word written presentation about own work and influences.
External Exam- selection of titles issued by the exam board from which you will choose one to investigate and explore. 3 day (15 hr) exam -May

Examinations
All A-level exams are at the end of Year 13:
- 15 hr exam to conclude a 10 week block of work.
