JSTOR

WHAT IS JSTOR?

JSTOR provides access to more than 12 million academic journal articles, books, and primary sources across 75 disciplines. This opens up enormous wider reading potential for research projects such as Non-Examination Assessments (NEA – coursework), as well as for extending curricular learning further. The service is accessible 24/7 from home or in school.

WHAT ELSE DOES IT OFFER?

JSTOR publishes a free online magazine – JSTOR Daily – that pairs news and current events with up-to-date scholarship. Stories are organised into subject areas that make it easy to find course-aligned content that is educational and engaging. JSTOR Daily additionally provides articles with tips on remote learning and general study skills.

Also on offer through JSTOR is Research Basics, a self-paced course that helps students learn academic research skills, including effective searching, evaluating credibility, and properly citing sources. We would encourage any of you who are potentially considering application to universities next year to complete the three modules of this open course!
