Hello, and welcome to our Famous Scientists page.  When you come to Bishop you will soon realise that our labs are named after famous scientists throughout history.  To help you become familiar with their names and the reasons for which they are famous, we have put together a fact file on each of the scientists which you can find below:

A challenge for you ! 

Choose a famous scientist, carry out some research into their life and investigate their exciting discoveries. 

You can present your findings in a fact file like the ones above, and you may wish to include the following information: 

1. Important dates 

2. Education

3. Scientific achievements

4. Interesting facts

5. Pictures

These don't have to be scientists from History you can look into more recent scientists who are researching and developing new and exciting ideas currently.
