The Bishop Award — Bishop Stopford School

The Bishop Award is designed to stretch and challenge Year 7 students.

The aims of the award are to:

Improve confidence and aptitude
Build character and community
Reward academic and personal success

To gain the award, students need to complete a series of challenges in seven categories. There are 3 levels to work towards: Bronze, Silver and Gold.

Students take ownership of their own progress and keep a record in a ‘passport’; this is evidenced by staff / community members who will sign the passport as standards are met. The award is also monitored and logged during form time by tutors.

There is an Award Ceremony at the end of the year for students who have achieved award. Badges and certificates for award recipients.
