Musical Instruments at School Guidelines

MUSICAL INSTRUMENTS – AT SCHOOL

Musical Instruments are brought into school subject to the following conditions:

1. The instrument should be taken immediately to the purpose built instrument store. This store remains locked at all times, but the school cannot guarantee complete security.
2.  Instruments must be placed very carefully in the store and in a secure manner.
3.  Students should only bring an instrument on the day when it will be used and it should be taken home the same day.  In most circumstances this means that instruments are not left in school overnight. 
4. Students must respect the property of others to see that no damage is caused.

The school does not accept any responsibility for musical instruments or for any damage that may be caused to them.

NB: It is strongly advised that personal insurance cover is taken out to cover an instrument.
